Shows from the 2000s

Find out more about hit musicals such as Les Misérables – School Edition, We Will Rock You and Fame, the Co-op Juniors debut performance at Seckford Theatre with the sell out High School Musical, as well as the first 5 years of Christmas Spectacular! at Snape Maltings.

Shows from the 1990s

The 1990s saw the group build on the success of their first ten years at the Regent Theatre, moving away from traditional pantomime titles with Chrismas productions such as The Wind in the Willows, The Little Mermaid and the award-winning A Christmas Carol. This is also the decade when summer musicals became a staple of the Co-op Juniors’ year with successful productions of The Sound of Music, Annie and My Fair Lady.

Shows from the 1980s

Delve back in the archives for information on the Co-op Juniors first decade at the Regent Theatre, or Gaumont Theatre as it was known then. Following on from success in Felixstowe’s Spa Pavilion the group began (in 1978) an annual tradition of Christmas pantomimes in the Ipswich theatre including Aladdin, Sleeping Beauty, Robinson Crusoe and Tom Thumb.
